My thoughts with Kasie Hines is that at first you meet these people and even though you have heard all the stories from Ducky, it is a bit intimidating. Some people are quiet, some are loud and nervous. Like she said with Abby it was like meeting the Beatles. So her demeanor if she will be Abby's replacement should simmer down. Remember how Jimmy Palmer was ,and sometimes still is, a nervous and very talkative of a person. Kasie probably will grow on us. I looked in IMDB and saw her list of appearances, but they were nothing I had seen. I thought Abby looking for Gibbs in the bullpen would have made him show up and they talk, but nope. I would like to read Ducky's book.

I was surprised with Nick, he came dancing in with his tax information and we saw the rest talking about the case. The old Gibbs would have laid into him. The stapler thing I thought would have come down to Nick using them to hard, and thus the reason they are breaking. I know with the newer staplers having plastic parts they don't seem to hold up as well as Bishop's Mack Truck Stapler should.

I liked that Gibbs found the handle to fit his dad's razor. I was trying to figure that out since he was in the Keogh's garage. It was nice he was going through Jackson's stuff. Also nice the pin up was actually Marks mom. Sloane coming to Gibbs inter sanctum, and Gibbs replying it was only a basement. I thought it was cute. I did like think her telling about her captivity helped her start to heal. Even though it wasn't to Gibbs.

It was odd to me why Clarence Wyatt would go to all the trouble now of trying to cover up his trail? I wonder if he hadn't contacted Roy Butler and then killing him, if he wouldn't have been found out. We see later ofcourse that a piece of his skin was found caught on a splinter of wood in the crate that held the Viking War Stick. But he probably didn't know he left evidence. But if he had destroyed the stick, or packed it away until he's 90, who would have known? Granted what are the chances of it being on a tv show, and then also of 2 guys involved in the case 16 years ago of actually seeing it and recognizing it??? But also with Wyatt being a collector, just because it looks good to his clients, probably made him not be one to let things alone.

IMDB and CBS list her as Kasie, but at first I wrote down the Casey spelling also. I keep notes, but rarely read them later, unless it is 2 weeks later or so I comment on it. That way to I can go back when rerun season comes and see if i had seen it. Even though sometimes I don't understand my own scribbling.

I didn't catch it as , Jethro and Jack getting lucky. Just co workers(friends) getting together. She had gone through an experience in the previous episode about telling John Ross about her captivity. Then she talked to Vance about the experience(telling Ross). So maybe this is part of her healing, and coming to grips with it all? So she is here to help others but maybe the team will help her??

I thought that buddy Bill Lester, who was with the COs wife, had said that the bar was long gone? But yes I would have thought we would hear about a deeper investigation in to him. Even if they say we have come up with little information or something.

it was a good ep.

there was a good part of ducky in there and the case was interesting.
thought that kasie's reaction to abby had something to do with being intrigued and intimidated by her. glad it wasn't something else.

there was no reeves in there though and sloan had no real task there again either and "hooking up" with gibbs doesn't make it better.

i think she might fit into the team, but i still hope they cancel the show. - never thought i would say that, but it has lost a lot and with abby leaving there will be a lot more missing.

Like how they brought Ducky in on this case. Nice that both Ducky and Gibbs watch the same show

Thought it was rude that Casey was avoiding Abby, but good she really wasn't doing that, but just fan fangirling .

While it is an interesting case & luck that they'd find the weapon that way how likely is it that Ducky & Gibbs would watch a show & then be able to spot exactly the weapon & know it? oh it was one of a kind? That makes more sense now then

Well that's easy to steal something if its got a label on the box... or even more sense if it was the scene of the crime

No wonder the friend was feeling guilty if his friend covered his shift for him when he died

oh that makes sense why Kasie wouldn't talk to Abby if she was intimidated because she is in the forensics field. Along with what she later says to Abby. Ducky would speak highly of her. She's a fan while everyone else she was fine with? I guess Abby is amazing
