I like the spring clock change, I just hate to wake up "one hour earlier"
That sounds like a strange interview... Either they don't care about your background/personality, or if they liked you there will be another round where they will ask questions about you It's finally weekend for me! I managed to caught up with anything, but I'm sure that my inbox will be full by the time I go to work again on Monday Doing on paper wouldn't be so bad, if people would actually share information... Anyways, tomorrow I'm going to bake cheesecake with golden raisins & rum, and take the cat out for a walk... The weather is supposed to clear up tomorrow... __________________

Yeah. Its just really weird. They implied they had enough information about me from my cover letter & resume
I'm glad you caught up on everything even if your inbox will be full again on Monday Agreed about being on paper Communication is the key. Without it then you get issues Sounds like a nice day __________________

It was a nice day, the cat spent an hour outside on the "roof garden" with the leash on And I made the dough, going to bake it tomorrow... I was originally planning to stay up late tonight, but I have a 2-hour driving lesson in the morning... After a close to 4-month break But hopefully time will fly smoothly... __________________

Thanks
My driving lesson went alright. Thank god my actual driving instructor is a calm guy, who is willing to explain everything instead of constantly telling me that I should just switch to learning automatic... I can switch to 4th gear... And I'm comfortable with staying on the 2nd & 3rd gear... I ended up making a raisin cheesecake with half crushed-walnut dough & I made another walnut-apple pie from the "surplus dough".. I ended up baking for 3 hours with little breaks in between How's your weekend so far? __________________

That's really good then . Always important to have a good instructor. Then that's great you felt comfortable changing & staying in the different gears. Manual makes no sense to me but that sounds good
Oh wow . Sounds like fun & you'll have a few nice treats My weekend is ok. I spent way too long in photoshop yesterday __________________

Photoshop is fun (I prefer caption creating, but to each its own )
In actually terms it means that I went with 70 km/h as well at some point... Which was cool... But I spent most of the 2 hour driving with 30-40 km/h on "lovely" narrow country roads... Overtaking cyclists & pedestrians every now & then... Next week will be the same, driving in the "Saturday rush hour" Have you baked anything recently? __________________

Photoshop is fun but not wise to spend all day playing around in it
Nice Sounds like a pleasant drive. Rush hour, even on a Saturday, may be less pleasant Nope. Haven't done anything for a while. The rain here is bad. Yesterday didn't have much but it came back today . At least where I am is considered 'high ground' but low ground areas are being hit really bad __________________

Right. Your weather is turning colder/rainier... Well, I hope that the storms this fall season won't be too bad for you...
Yeah, but that's true in general when it comes to spending long hours before the screen At least it's during the weekend... Technically I could have booked lessons to Fridays as well, but I need one day off to recharge, before focusing on driving... Anyways I'm going offline now... Still have some 20 minutes to caption tonight, and it's already getting close to 1 am... I want to go to sleep by 3 am latest __________________

Autumn doesn't necessarily mean rain here. We can have a wet season in either Autumn or Spring
The east coast is experiencing flooding so unfortunately its bad rain. Would be nice if it could come in small batches not hit really hard at once. Doesn't take much to cause some rivers & roads here to flood. That's true about looking at screens for long hours Yeah weekend should usually be better than weekdays. Having a day break sounds good Good luck captioning & sleep well __________________

Enjoy your Sunday!
Yeah, it's the same here in NL too, if it rains it can rain for days without any real break... Luckily, the country has a good flood-prevention system & there is a specific tax just for water management as well... Smaller batches of raining would be nice... __________________

That is good about your driving lesson Hanna. Nice you had a good instructor this time.
Sounds like your cheesecake was a success! Good luck with captioning the rest of your movie! Sorry to hear about the rain there Chelle Hopefully it lets up a bit for you guys. __________________

It was There is still some left of it... Even though I had less from some of the ingredients than the recipe said... Next time, we're probably going to be cheese scones or something similar. Something salty, with cheese instead of the sweet pies I've been making lately
This is my actual instructor, which means that I'd be fine... I still have a bit more than 10 minutes left... I'm captioning a movie about the Roman Architecture, specifically on the Iberian Peninsula... And while I was lucky enough to study Roman history back in high school, it's still a bit challenging to listen to all the Latin phrases & look up all sorts of history references... __________________
