I'm back, was just too tired yesterday when I got back home.

Getting commandeered by cat... well, that's just sad.

I know it's sad

He's been in a mood all day today too! He's getting into everything. Every time I turn around I'm like "NO!" or "Shay stop it!"

I've been really sleepy for some reason today. I took a 2 hour nap (with an interuption or 5 to yell at Shay )

He's a charmer! You can swear that you won't let him do something and the next thing you know he's doing it and you're just " Oh, damn, that's sooo cute!"

I try to be the ruler, but sometimes he wins out.

He's being quiet. Which means he's probably getting into trouble or asleep... I'll have to check.

I grew up with two cats. My brother and I each had a rat after they died and after that we got a cat again.
The little thing is living all alone with my mother by now.

It's precious

Ah, I had 3 dogs and a rabbit growing up. One of the dogs was given to a Spaniard when we moved back to the states from Spain. The other two have passed away and it was after them that I got Shay. I had to give my rabbit to a friend when we moved from Maine to Florida because rabbits don't move well.

I would have loved to keep Squeaker (poor dog couldn't bark to save his life! ), but with quarantine laws and trans-atlantic flights and all we thought it would be best if he stayed in Spain. The Spaniard was a good guy and had a nice large farm just outside the base so we know that Sqeaker had a good home to go to.

I argued for days to keep Honey Bunny, but in the end my parents told me it was best to leave him with my friend so that's what we did.

Stormy and Lady both lived until they were 14 years old so they had nice long lives. I miss them though

Well, she's never technically been my cat, though she only really listened to me.
She was like the family cat.
She's got to be around 10 by now.

Family pets are good.
She could have another 10 years to live easy. Most cats (at least indoor, well cared for cats) can live 20 years.

The two I grew up with got to be 16 or 17.
It was sooo sad.
The one got sick and after some time of giving her injections for time to time by the vet it was decided to just lay her sleep.
I said I wanted to be there, but my mother being my mother...
Just end it and put her out of her misery.
Not long after the other one died, because she, or better he, couldn't life without her.
