Why did DiNozzo attend a military academy? That confuses me

My guess is maybe he might have been a problem teen, so his parents shipped him off to the school. I dunno. What ever the reason is though, I can't wait to find out!

I didn't think of it like that. He has mentioned being set away to school thinking about it more. After his mother died his father would send him to school, I just never thought of it as being a military academy

Yup. That's the only thing I can think of... unless he wanted to join the military at some point. Wouldn't surprise me if his dad just sent him there either just for the heck of it (not wanting to deal with him). I wouldn't have thought of it being a school like that either.

I think it was more just for the heck of it that sounds like something his father would have done. But maybe he did want to join the military at some point, but that'd surprise me which I think is why it confused me when I first read it

I think they explained it. He'd been kicked out of several boarding schools so the Military Academy was it. He must have been quite rebellious having his father move from place to place and from woman to woman. No mother or mother figure to ground him. And then having his father dumping him in a boarding school to begin with so he could go off to do whatever he does. Poor kid. BTW, they couldn't have found a more perfect DiNozzo Senior than Robert Wagner if they tried

Haha the dinner invite throwing Tony off and surprising them Gibbs was going.

Interesting Abby and Bert spend time with Bishop and Jake alot. Also nice that Abby and Bert are still together.

So, is Coach Tanner where Tony started to get his love of movie quotes from?Liked all the flashbacks we had and learning new stuff about Tony.

To see such a different side to DiNozzo was pretty great. Who knew that Tony was smart. Even though he was trouble as a kid, he still had the smarts too.

I forgot to reply to this last week . It was a good ep, I really enjoyed it.

So, is Coach Tanner where Tony started to get his love of movie quotes from?

That's what I was thinking but I think his mother originated his love for movies so maybe it started there but Coach Tanner expanded on it?

Loved all the flashbacks too
