Is it really Defectors? A lot of people are confused because it looks like they are changing the eps because of the attacks. They took all the sneak peeks and the promo for Defectors of youtube and their site and have now put up a generic promo and it says "The Long Goodbye". Has anyone heard anything about this?

I'm not sure. I was thinking that when I was putting up the episodes that some might be changed. I then forgot to double check to see if I could find anything, I'll go do that now

"The Long Goodbye" is a few eps time so they'd be skipping two I think if they do change the order

Edit: I can't find anything official saying anything. Even the CBS website still is listing this episode as being the one airing this week

Dave Kalstein just answered a Tumblr user on twitter.

As @chrisodonline already noted and @itsmealasia posted too, CBS changed the episode order. This is the confirmation from writer Dave Kalstein (cbs press express hasn’t updated their schedule yet) (Sorry if this has been posted already, I didn’t find it in the tags…) I suppose they had no other choice than airing “The Long Goodbye” since it’s the only one they are finished with. “Defectors” and “Internal Affair” have to air back to back due to obvious reasons and even if they’re done with cutting the christmas epi, they can’t air it just now. The Joe Sachs/Karen Gaviola epi could/should still be in the editing room… The generic preview could be because they didn’t have the time to make a real one for “The Long Goodbye” because of time reasons…

Hi CBS has changed the episode due to the Paris attacks

CBS has pulled Monday’s originally-scheduled episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles in the wake of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris that left nearly 130 people dead.

NCIS: LA Different episodes of each series will air instead. According to a CBS insider, the move was made “out of sensitivity and respect to the events that occurred.”

Meanwhile, the ditched NCIS: Los Angeles outing, “Defectors,” involved ISIS recruiting young women. The Dec. 7 installment “The Long Goodbye,” will air in its place.

And this is why NCIS LA should do a Thanksgiving themed filler ep instead of just a Christmas one.

They changed it to confuse me . No, not really it is because of the attacks which I think is good of them given the episode description of the Defenders ep. I agree it would have been good if they had a Thanksgiving filler ep

yeah. TBH, I was kind of freaked myself after those attacks. Didn't sleep well that night. Didn't help that we had a gas line explosion a few miles from us that day as well. Kind of weird that I was scared since we don't live in a major city....but it is still scary to think that this might happen to us.

I don't blame you . It is kinda a good thing I don't have a TV so I haven't seen anything about it, just read that it happened. They all freak me out though, no matter where they happen. More so now that I'm in a part of Sydney as I'm in a major city not the country

I also hope everyone enjoys the ep hopefully it makes sense even though it is not in order & it jumped in time two eps

I was wondering about the episode. I didn't get to watch it until a few days after it aired and at first didn't think anything of the episode, until I saw Talia pop up, then I remembered that it was supposed to be a totally different episode. I am glad they pushed the other episode due to what happened in France.

Anyway, on to the episode... I thought it was great. Loved that we had Talia back and I love that her and Kensi have found they have a lot in common They just had some great scenes.

Oh and Kensi and her PSB I really wanted to see Callen pull of that 'op' for Kensi

Deeks and Callen paired together was a nice change too and Deeks trying to get together with Callen was funny Especially when Callen said maybe, but when Talia mentioned hanging out with Callen, he was up for it

The whole Jada storyline was eh. I never really liked that whole storyline, and I thought she was stupid not to listen to Sam, even though she wants nothing to do with him.

I am sure there are some other things, but that's what stuck out the most

I have to agree with the people on Tumblr......what happened to changing up routines and such? Kensi going to the same Starbucks? Tsk Tsk Tsk, what would Sam say if he had been there?


the whole thing with Deeks and Callen was AWESOME! It was time for them to get partnered up!

I also loved Talia and Kensi. I don't get the people who are mad about that whole thing. Yes they weren't friendly in Citadel, but who would after losing your partner of x years and worrying about who is texting your partner? We saw that Talia and Kensi were fine with each other at the end of Deep Trouble......just because they, well mostly Kensi, weren't happy with each other in Citadel doesn't mean squat. There were a lot of emotions running in that ep and people should not base friendships/enemies on just that ep. Friendships have their ups and downs, doesn't mean that Talia is bad or should be judged on that one ep.

there's also been quite a bit of time between those eps so who is to say they haven't been in contact since then & become closer either?
