It was an anti-St Patrick day episode quite fitting for the current events...

I don't think that they have ever made an episode like that...

I know that E.R had a similar hostage situation episode in s2 or s3 - where one of the robbers was the young Ewan McGregor...

Kasie & Palmer did quite well, all things considered...

It was a good episode. I loved that it was centered around Palmer and Kasie. They did do a good job together taking care of the bad guys

It shows how far Jimmy has come since his beginnings. And it nice to see Kasie centric one too... I don't think even five years ago, Jimmy would have the confidence to help take control of the situation, and how they improvised.

Of course these band of criminals were stupid. Rocky did a great job directing the episode.

Loved Jimmy's description of Gibbs. Reminded me of when Tony would describe Gibbs...

Well that was a tense episode!

Jimmy and Kasie made a great team and were cool under pressure. Jimmy has come so far, yes, I don't think he would have had that confidence back in the early days. That guy should have listened to Jimmy and not attempt to shoot the bad guys. Seriously though, swallowing condoms with diamonds in? How stupid is that?! And damn, Jimmy having to do the autopsy on the guy that had just died, getting the diamonds out, after 17 seasons of watching reasonably realistic looking autopsies on this show this is the one I had to look away. Hope Jimmy scrubbed up afterwards. I liked the ending, with Vance serving them drinks, they definitely deserved it after that ordeal.

I think Jimmy's turning point where he grew even more was that one episode a few years ago where he talked the guy off the ledge and found out he passed the test to be come an MD.

Kasie standing up to the bullying - bless her. She was right though, no call for the way they were talking at all. Love everyone applauding her after too

Not necessarily what I expected for the case, but interesting how the robbers ended up in the diner. Lucky most got out before they got in (& that Palmer got them all to get down when the shooting started)

Trust Vance to know Gibbs would want to know about the diner being involved & hostages being held. Love that they are all running to help even without knowing some of their team are there

Poor McGee wanting to be there but stuck at headquarters

Love Palmer & Kasie trying to protect Phyllis & her unborn baby so Max takes one of them out there instead of her

Max wanting Palmer to get the diamonds out I don't want to watch, but I have also seen bits of the comments above so that may be influencing my thought more... (doesn't seem so bad to me though)
Smart thinking Kasie & then Palmer following along to trick them about the condoms breaking
