So during the last 2 ep we have had the ghost of Mike Franks in Gibbs ear .. Last night Franks got Gibbs to speak to him ,even though it was all in gibbs head . Happy to see him make a appearance as spirit . He had strong words for Gibbs
"so busy saving others who is going to save you " No spoiler but his words seemed to come true at the end of the finale

Franks is an interesting character... Compared to him Gibbs is almost an easy person to get along with... At least he has "authority" over Gibbs every once in a while

It's easy to see why he's portrayed as Gibbs' conscious so many times later on...

Btw what happened with his almost daughter-in-law and nephew (4x19) after his death?

I love how he makes Gibbs a probie so to speak & has that authority over him. Its nice to see both their friendship & that role/power between them & how it plays out. They worked well together & I'm glad we still get him as the conscious at times

From what I remember they move to be near Gibbs but I think they're only shown the one time after Franks dies

Agreed with you both. They did work well together. I miss seeing their scenes.

After finishing s7 I still like Franks, but I also think that he set himself up for murder in Mexico... I mean no one asked him to go & retire within the same area of Mexico where Hernandez & the Reynosas live(d)... I have the feeling that he wanted to die on duty, so he stayed in Mexico while knowing that Gibbs had history there...

(Today is my only day with real wifi, so going to re-watch s10 or s11 offline from my pc this week...)
