Agreed. But I don't understand why Nell also being a field agent, it would put Kensi out of active duty??

I think it was just a misunderstanding...
Hetty has never planned to change Nell for Kensi... There's even a later episode in s6 where Nell keeps on going on that she doesn't want to be the same kind of field agent as the others... ... Of course it seems that Nell had the most honest mentor-ship with Hetty when it came to difficult situations... __________________

I guess but I just think it's odd that she would even think that.
By what we have seen of Nell in the field, she is already a different type of field agent than the others  But I see what you are saying __________________
