They did do a good job with the story
I want to say yes, she did have dancing experience. I thought I remember reading that somewhere  I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong__________________

As far as I know she won DWTS
 I know she has a dancing background but not sure when it started. She uses her dancing training to help her with stunts. Then she got to show her dancing skills off in that episode you've recently watched . Poor ECO has no dancing skills/ability though so he had to learn it all for that ep__________________
