 Thanks for the thread, when I checked the thread guide, I couldn't find one that was comparable to this one. I never realized we didn't have a thread for the initial cast members  __________________

In my opinion they make the show. I have always watched the show I handled loosing kate and jenny now ziva I can handle losing tim but those four especially gibbs, abby, and tony there family there the show

Well, I can hardly handle losing Ziva, but I couldn't handle losing McGee
 But you are right, they have been there from the very beginning and are the core of the show. __________________

Great thread idea
I couldn't handle losing McGee either but these 4 they started the show so I hope they finish it. If we had to lose any I'd understand Ducky retiring but I'd still like to think he'd be in the show somehow still  __________________

I guess if Ducky ever retired he'd still be around. He was around too when he was supposed to be on sick leave after his heart attack too, so I think if he ever retired he'd still give them advice and be around. But I hope we won't lose anyone again soon

He doesn't seem like he's quite ready to call it quits or leave just yet anyway so I don't think we have to worry about Ducky retiring. I used to say I don't think we have to worry about any of the cast leaving but now I'm not confident about that anymore. I do think that Ducky retiring wouldn't mean the last of him though, he just may not be in every episode he'd just be there to give advice & another look at things or visit Gibbs (or someone else) for an important piece of the plot puzzle

It's amazing how one thing can trigger so much. I used to be so sure that none would leave but now I don't know what to think about anything or any of them but I'd like to think that none of the others would leave. It'd be so strange if one of the core four left though. Then the 'originals' would start going down in numbers
