Spin-offs always have me weary. They're never as good as the original. Though, it's a great testament to NCIS that they're doing a spin-off

Well if they do anything like NCIS did after it's start on JAG, I think they will give it a fresh start with little or no references to what happened before.

I remember watching the original crossover eps on JAG and not being totally impressed by what they were pitching. But when I saw the NCIS premire with a fresh storyline that really gave the show a chance to show what it was made of, that's when I fell in love with the NCIS.
