I was surprised to see it, but not necessarily surprised by it when I read it, if that makes sense

I honestly don't pay attention to whatever they do with her & Gibbs since I am not interested in them doing that at all so didn't think about that. But it also makes me glad to see her go so they don't explore that further (hopefully)

Exactly. that was my problem too. I think it was unnecessary to bring this character in. the team was good and big enough.

Me either, but only noticed it in the few episodes last season. I am glad about that as well.

I was just double checking when the shows are released on DVD here & found the following special feature list:

NCIS Special Features: Other Times. Other Lives. Hallowed Ground: The Arizona Inside Season 17 The Return of Ziva David x

The LA one isn't listing any & NOLA isn't available yet most likely since it hasn't finished airing here yet. Hopefully all three have been able to put together something

These are the US release dates I found:
NCIS - July 28
LA - August 4
NOLA - August 11
