Horrible news, as Gary Glasberg, showrunner for NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, passed away in his sleep overnight. He was only 50.

i just saw that on FB too. Very sad. I was confused when i saw it & had to look up what happened. I am glad it was in his sleep so he presumably didn't suffer. Does anyone know if he was sick or anything?

You can see some cast reactions/comments here. Looks like it was completely unexpected

Oh wow! That is very sad news. Thoughts to his family and to the NCIS cast and crews.

It doesn't seem like he was sick Chelle, at least that's what I gather by the reactions and comments from those of the cast. Just very very sad.

Yeah I saw that in the article I posted too . Still can't believe it is real I wonder if they'll dedicate an episode to him or something?

Atleast hopefully he passed away in peace. I have heard only the nicest of people pass like that.

I agree, it is young. That's why I thought it could be that he'd been sick before. It seems so unexpected to me for someone who's only 50 to die

Yeah. It's possible he was and didn't tell anyone maybe? Either that or it could have been just too much stress maybe.

RIP Gary Glasberg!

Just learned the news today when I was watching NCIS on the
USA Network and there was a memorial to him after the episode ended.

They dedicated an episode to him today on USA Network.
