(She kisses his cheek.) --- W h a t T h e F a n s S a y Whether they're hating each other, or loving each other, or being frustrated, or amused with each other, etc, it is always all about their own little world to the point where sometimes McGee is right there with them and they don't even notice him. And when one of them is talking to McGee, the other one will show up and then it goes from "A Conversation About McGee" to "Tony And Ziva Banter And Bicker And Then Stare At Each Other For An Eternity As The Scene Continues In The Foreground". Tony and Ziva are each other's world. Everyone else is white noise. Even Tony no longer looks at women and you can't tell me it's because of Jeanne cause it's not. And when Ziva gets a boyfriend, she outright accuses Tony of being jealous, even though there has never been any declaration of love between them. It's like they're in a relationship they can't express physically or verbally. They know they have feelings for each other but they only communicate these feelings with their eyes and their little stares and their in-between-the-lines. I was just watching the little clip above from when they first met and that reminded of Tony interviewing Ziva's replacements at the beginning of the season, especially woman #1.
Woman #1 -- strong woman who had her hair tied back. Tony commented about a woman in boxy clothing and hair pulled back, but then all of a sudden the hair comes down and she becomes beautiful Woman #2 -- very courageous, pretty eyes and doesn't hesitate to get in your face -- but when she gets in Tony's face it just isn't the same ... Woman #3 -- Long black hair, long family history of service and sarcastic too (too much for Tony though He just couldn't escape her ... |

Oh that's a really great point.
 I don't think I even noticed that!  Wow, now I think I wanna go back and rewatch because if you think about it, it really added a lot to the feeling of Ziva being gone and him not hearing from her. Like he say her in everyone because he was that worried and consumed by her. Interesting.__________________

 And i've noticed what you said Austen...every woman that Tony interviewed in the premiere had something of Ziva...and with the first woman he described her like he was thinking about his first meeting with Ziva...he saw her in every woman that he was interviewing but when one of them tried to flirt with him he understood that nobody would have ever been her and he was tired to lie to himself, tired to try to hide that he didn't miss Ziva and he wasn't worried for her. Aww i love ToC so much! I think that was the episode that showed for the most how much Tony cared for Ziva and not only..but it was also a great character inside episode for him. |

i agree. it's amazing what a fluid actor MW is... one minute he's laughing and grinning and teasing and joking around... the next, all laughter gone and his face is just so powerful, he doesn't have to say a word. i feel bad for all the people who don't watch NCIS and don't get to see what an amazing actor he is!
for some reason that .gif is being screwed up when i upload it so i'll have to re-make it later. until then...  oh, i can't wait for tuesday!!! i'm actually staying away from spoilers for once cause i wanna be surprised so i hope they give us something good to last us through the next hiatus! Okay so I'm working on my icons100 entry and I can't for the life of me remember which episode it is that Ziva is directly behind Tony at his desk, kind of pushes him into it and invades his personal space. He's wearing a suit and she's wearing a grey suit also? I think? Not entirely sure. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
