hmm I started rewatching season 13 (in preparation for season 14 starting here) & in about episode 4 Abby said hinky around McGee & it got me thinking about how far they've come. I know it was said while they were having problems/upset with each other but back in season 1 there was this exchange:
Quote:
MCGEE: What are we looking for?
ABBY: Just anything that’s hinky.
MCGEE: Why do you use that word?
ABBY: What word?
MCGEE: Hinky. It’s a made up word.
ABBY: All words are made up words.
MCGEE: Well I think it’s stupid.
ABBY: Well maybe I shouldn’t say anything then.
now he doesn't even blink at her use of the word, just goes along with it. Sure he probably has gone along with it ever since that episode in season 1, I just randomly thought about it while watching just now . Don't know why my mind went to that scene from season 1 just now either

That's funny! And good catch. Yeah I am sure he started going along with it after that in season 1 and has done the same many times before You learn after the first few times when it comes to Abby I think

They were working in her lab together in the first episode That was a nice treat to start things off for me. But then don't think they had any real moments in the second one
