I wouldn't be surprised if he steps away from hosting for a little while. He almost turned down the Emmys because he was worried about overexposure but it was too good to pass up. It might explain why it doesn't sound like he's given the Tonys an answer for their invitation to host again next year.

I think he would find it very hard to turn the Oscars down. It might hinge on how much input he would have. He only did the Emmys because they agreed to let him be a producer, which meant he knew he could do it the way he wanted. That might not be possible with the Oscars.
