4. Because its every Wednesday and Saturday (except twice last month she skipped the weekend).
5. Because he stopped the truck, not Captain Hammer.
6. Because of the puppy dog looks he gives over her!
7. Because once they know each other the conversation just flows so smoothly.
8. Because "I can't believe we've been coming here so long and never spoke".
9. Because she almost kissed him at the end of her song!
10. Because whens he realized he was Dr. Horrible she wasn't afraid anymore.

And I loved the other title, and I wanted to use it 'cause it was beautiful, but I'm not sure I agree with it, is the thing. It intrigued me so!

Oh this title totally works too! But yes, there was something about the other one that definitely begs for discussion, although I should probably rewatch Dr. Horrible first.

My disagreeing isn't that she was scared as opposed to not scared, but just that I saw her as dying. And yet still believing in Captain Hammer and how devastating that was that Joss wrote it like that. But I'm going to bed before I say more before watching that scene over again!

Yeah, I didn't know that was on the list in the OP - I don't think I agree with it either! I think I agree with Air's POV - the fact that she thought Captain Hammer would come and save everything was so sad

I've got to say, though. I never even thought that she realised he was Dr Horrible at all. She was dying, everything was probably fuzzy for her. She just thought Billy had showed up.

In her fuzzy dying brain she probably didn't even question why he was there. It likely seemed normal to her.

I wrote a fic about this, too, omg. XD I'm pretty sure she realized it when he said "It's gonna be bloody, head up Billy-buddy", because she mouthed "Billy-buddy?" and started standing up. And then when she started to die things got fuzzy and she forgot the last bit of her life, which is why she didn't think Captain Hammer was a jerk or remember Billy was Dr. Horrible?

That's what I always thought, anyway.

Uhm, yes. XD I wrote a fic from Penny's POV in her dying moments. It's called Puzzle Pieces and it's on FF.net. (and my LJ, for that matter.)

I've grown an aversion to talking about my fics though, for certain reasons, so I'll just leave it there. xD
