I did think it was a little out of character for her, but maybe they're going to explore it more. Like you said, maybe she is really into Barney and that brings it out in her.

I didn't think it was out of character. I think it was like... her and Barney are both trying to deal with the relationship in different ways. Barney is Barney and is trying to prove that he can carry on as normal (which I'm okay with because he'll soon realise he can't!) and Robin is still coming to terms with being in a relationship with Barney, and the fact that he's BARNEY probably makes her unsure how he'll handle this so she's being a bit stricter/more jealous than she normally would.

After all, in The Stinson when they thought Barney had a girlfriend and Lily was like "Where are we going?! Where does this girl live?!" Robin said "We're talking about a woman that actually got Barney Stinson to commit, I'm guessing Narnia."

I think there's some adjusting going on from both sides and by Robin seeming a little out of character she's actually being perfectly IN character. Does that make sense at all? I don't think I explained it well.
