I feel like with this show I really wanna see the flashbacks and how everyone came to be at the dollhouse.

I feel like it's such a critical thing to know in regards to the characters and their development. I really hope we get to see that from everyone, though I kind of doubt it.

I think thats kind of whats missing and maybe thats why a lot of people cant get into it because they dont really know anything about the characters, theres no background.

Hmm, yeah.

I would definitely agree with that. I'd say most people watch and stick with a show because of the characters, at least that's how it is for me, so we definitely need more background.

Me too, I love Joss but you usually get a feel for the characters right away. In Buffy you find out that Buffy burnt down her old school within the first ten minutes and you find out about Willow and Xanders hostory and in Firefly you find out incredible soon about River and what happened to her and by the tenth episode you've found out how everyone came to be on the ship but with Dollhouse we havent really found out anything about the characters pasts except Echo and I just think people are frustrated by that.

Hmm, when you put it that way I really understand.

It's interesting that Joss hasn't done that with this show. I wonder what it is that's stopping him or delaying him in giving the backstories of everyone other than Echo. And you know it's also interesting because of his fans from his other shows. I bet they started watching and got nothing from anyone other than Echo and so stopped.

I hope it's not the case, but it seems plausible. Hopefully he'll start balancing it out properly and giving us things about everyone and not just Echo.

I think he has an incredibly loyal fanbase but they wont keep watching if he's not giving them anything that they like. But yeah hopefully he eases off Echo a bit.

Yeah I think its just taken too long to really get into the main idea of the show, with Echo regaining her memories and the other cast members getting a shot.

An Echo/Dr. Saunders topping sounds very good to me. I would love to see them team up against the Corporation or at least get a flashback scene from a mission where they kicked some ass.
