I really need to get back to reading the screenplay. I've been so distracted with school though, and I've watched Emma (with Romola Garai) and both Persuasions (07 and 95) so I'm leaning more towards reading those books now.

I haven't read or seen Persuasion but I think they have both versions of Persuasion on youtube. I'd love to read the book. I want to read all of Jane Austen's books eventually.

Oh you should watch both of the adaptations. They're so great! Which books have you read? I'm hoping to get through them all within a year.

I tried watching it on youtube but it's being such a pain. It's so unbelievably slow today. I have read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. I have seen almost all the adaptations and I really love them. But I am so busy with school, I hardly have any time for reading. Which ones have you read?

Oh I downloaded them online. If I bookmarked the site, I wouldn't mind giving it to you. And I also got one of the other ones from an LJ comm.

I've read the same. P&P and S&S I've been told are her best, and I would agree so far. I love them dearly, but I'm hoping to get through the others. School gets in my way too, which is so annoying. I wish they offered a Jane Austen class.

That would be great if you could PM me the link, if you still have it. I really want to see it. A Jane Austen class would be awesome, I would totally sign up.

thanks for sending me the link.

I think Jane Austen should be mandatory in High Schools. Unfortunantly when I was in high school they only offered Dutch literature, nothing else was really allowed.
