When I do watch this, I'll be going into it blind as I have no clue what to expect or what it's about. It seems to have good reviews so the critics like it. __________________

Good advice. The Kate movie I ended up watching was Sense & Sensibility but Quills is next.

I remember I had a viewing party with my brother, once.
 ESOTSM was aired and after that, Quills were on to follow. I wanted to sleep, but my brother insisted I stay up to watch the film, as he would do. Well, I stayed, but was unable to keep my eyes open. What happened? I felt asleep a few minutes before ESOTSM begins, and woke up when Quills was on. I saw the film from the "A kiss for each page" (or sth like that) scene. But I had lost almost half of the film (I think) and couldn't understand the rest. Also, it was three in the morning... |

If you do end up watching this film, let us know what you thought of it. I'm kind of curious about that.
I liked Kate's performance but this isn't one of those films you can watch over and over again. You really have to be in the mood for it. __________________

Hehe, I've watched this film multiple times...partly cuz of Kate and partly cuz of Geoffrey. I just adore these 2 actors and to have them in the same movie together was incredible!
 Hmmm, I'm just going to have to have a Kate marathon soon. __________________

Good news! Good news!! Goods news!!! (for me, actually). My brother bought the DVD a couple of days ago, and I told him to bring it with him this Christmas, as he is coming for a long visit (he studies in Greece). He accepted and said he will also look for ESOTSM, so that I can watch it! "And this time", he said quite angrily, "the viewing party will be at a morning, or an afternoon! I don't want to hear you sleeping this time!"
Before I close the phone, he told me that he would love to see RR and The Reader, too. Apparently, someone out there in my family loves Kate!... |
