I wasn't very impressed with the miniseries. It just wasn't interesting enough. I kept waiting for it to end and I even skipped a few things. It's not really my cup of tea.

have to say I find it a bit slow in places but I was just amazed that Kate was in every scene

I find Veda so frustrating though-she's so selfish and doesnt appreciate anything Mildred offers her

I just couldn't relate to any of the characters and most of them weren't even likable, which is probably one of the reason why I didn't like it that very much. It's really difficult to like something if you don't like the main characters. And it was a bit slow at times, I just kept waiting for it to be over.

I thought that the mini-series was well-done , I loved Kate and Evan in it
they both did an amazing job , I loved how they showed the evil in Veda's character ..
I felt sad that Evan wasn't in the three parts , though. I wanted to see a lot of her with Kate
other thing that I loved about the show was that it was so realistic
I mean , they didn't try to make everyone happy in the end and brought everyone together

I think Kate and Evan were great in it. I agree with that. I hope Kate will get nominated for an Emmy. I just didn't like the story very much and Mildred did some things I couldn't understand. I didn't like Mildred and Veda as characters. There's nothing likeable about them. Mildred was way too proud and Veda was just really evil

I dont think they were supposed to be liked though-especially Veda, that was her character, she was mean and selfish and full of herself, all she wanted was nice things-which in tern pressured Mildred to be really proud to get her all those things in life-they just went about it the wrong way which I guess was the drama of the story

I think you're right about that. But it's really difficult to watch something when there's absolutely nothing that you like about the main characters.I understand that we're not suppose to like them. But even if a character is mean, usually there's still something likeable.

yeh I can see your point there Fatima-usually there's some light on a character if there not likeable and why that might be-but I guess there are villains in a story and Veda in particular was a villian

I liked her in the fourth part. when she got rejected by her teacher
I felt kinda sorry for her. nothing other than that though , she was really evil
but I actually love the evil characters. it shows to you how good the actress is
I thought Mildred did some weird stuff too , but she wasn't that unlikable
she was ok , but I agree she was way too proud and Kate played it perfectly
I hope both of them get nominated for emmys and golden globes !

same here i still need to see parts 4 and 5 but from clips ive seen Mildred does some strange things

the variety of characters you play is the sign of a great actress-playing a villain is a great side to a character as chiling as they maybe

Veda was a perfect villain. She did some really bad stuff. And Evan Rachel Wood played her so well, I hope she'll get nominated for an Emmy. Mildred did some weird stuff and she was incredibly proud and at times it made her a bit annoying. But maybe she wasn't that unlikeable, there was some good stuff. Maybe I was focusing way too much on the weird stuff she did.

Yesterday I finally managed to watch the last episode. MY GOD! IT'S... WOW. Kate made me cry several times, specially when she was upset with Veda. I really hate that kid!!! She's a good vilan.

Kate did an amazing job, I'm proud to be her fan.

and "Cut the mush" is my new thing. that other kid was so cute!

Kate is going to win an Emmy award for this. She did such a good Job with this role, even though she was too young to portray it. But when I watch the show she was so amazing in the Lead role, I am so proud of her
