Titanic Appreciation Thread #2: Because this movie isn't only about Jack and Rose.
Welcome to the 2nd Titanic Appreciation Thread  Synopsis: In 1996, treasure hunter Brock Lovett and his team explore the wreck of RMS Titanic, searching for a diamond necklace called the Heart of the Ocean. They recover Caledon "Cal" Hockley's safe, believing the necklace to be inside, but instead find a sketch of a nude woman wearing it, dated April 14, 1912, the night the Titanic hit the iceberg. An elderly woman named Rose Dawson Calvert, hearing about the drawing, calls Lovett and claims that she is the woman depicted and she visits him and his team. She decides to tell them the real story, as seen through her eyes. We travel back to 1912, when Rose is a seventeen year old gir, forced to her engagement with Cal by her snobbish, newly widowed, mother. Soon, she finds true love in the eyes of Jack Dawson, a wandering artist dreaming of becoming a millionaire. They both live a passionate love affair, but it's all destined to end tragically, beginning from the moment the Titanic hits the iceberg. Those pictures are wonderful, I'm loving the colors. The cinematography in the film is excellent.
It would be nice to add a few screencaps on there or something like that. __________________

I saw that on tumblr a few minutes ago actually. I do agree, the cinematography is so well done, so brilliant. Yeah, the first pic in the OP seems to have disappeared  |

Oh I think that's my favourite Jack one! And also the one where Jack and Fabrizio are running to the ship... "We're practically god damm royalty!"
Jas, I found part of your favourite scene on youtube: I've got a couple of scenes I would like to post: Leaving port-some beautiful shots here! It brings tears to my eyes knowing that all those happy people waving bye, are excited for their new lives in America BUT some of them would never make it  "This is where we first met"-I love her Jack kisses her and holds her really close, protecting her. Sad scene though |
