I think Kate has certainly grown as an actress- i think RR is her best performance and The Reader (and Eternal as well) but I think Kate has always said that she didn't think she was very good an actress in Titanic (not sure why she would say that though)

I think Kate was brilliant since 'Heavenly Creatures' but she's definitely grown since then. Tremendously.

Kate has really does an impressing progress since her first acting job. She's way more mature now, when it comes to showing the character's emotions in such a way, that it makes you feel like you're her character, you somehow feel the same way. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but she has an energy inside her, a power to transfer emotions and feelings and sharing them with you, making you feel her for, at least, one moment. I think there's no such word to describe it more briefly, but, in other words, this is a great talent to have

'Throwing Up' is a bit of a strong reaction though.
