Kate about Johnny
I mean, obviously he’s devastatingly handsome which is just shocking and so annoying. Because, you know, he’s in his early forties now, and he looks like he’s 30. But he’s a lovely, lovely guy.

Johnny is such a gentleman, and he’s so funny. He has a really British sense of humor. He’s like a European in an American skin. And he’s ridiculously gorgeous. It’s preposterous, actually, I would say to him, ‘Do you drink alcohol?’ and he’d say, ‘Yeah,’ and he look at me like I had six heads. And I’d say, Your skin!’ He has incredible skin!

Everybody asks me this, whether I’m slightly annoyed that I didn’t get to kiss Johnny Depp... We would have laughed.

And when it comes to nudity onscreen, unless I have a love scene with Johnny Depp, I plan to keep some clothes on.

Well he’s a wonderful actor and he’s, I think, brilliant in the film (finding neverland). I had a great time working with him. And he’s a lot of fun as well.

Working with Johnny Depp is like working with a fifth child. I have four children in the movie and then I have Johnny. We just had a lot of fun and he makes me laugh and he makes the boys love too which really has worked for what we needed to do, because JM Barrie made these boys laugh and he made Sylvia laugh in that way. So, he has been very very clever and very quick with the jokes and I’ve just loved it.

I’ve always been a fan of Johnny’s work, I think the choices he’s made are just exceptional and very brave. He’s a great guy, a wonderful dad, and he’s quite childlike as well.

We both hate watching ourselves on screen, too - so we got on really, really well.

You’re so full of s*it, I love it. (To Johnny after he said he was going to see ESOTSM for her)

“(It was)one of the most triumphant things I’ve ever seen an actor do. The first take was priceless. The boys didn’t want to speak, to say, ‘Someone just farted.’ Then it happened again, and they were bursting. That was the thing that made the scene work. That was totally down to Johnny.

Johnny About Kate
I really enjoyed working with Kate, she’s terrific. Very very smart, very very funny. We always laugh, ever day. She was a pleasure to be around.

I’m going to see it for Kate. (About Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind)
