Yes, I do! It's here:

It's one of the famous "rebetika", sth like country music for the Americans.
Here's the translation:

When I pass by to see you,
oh how you torture me,
you 're cooking meatballs
(it' says you 've got meatballs on fire,
meaning you are frying those as he repeats)
oh my sweet Katerina
and you are sweetly frying them.

Aman my Katerina, Kouzoum my Katerina
(there are 2 turkish words in the lyrics)
I want to tell you about my little complains
Eyes like chestnuts put me in tortures
and I want to pass by your door all the time.

You 've got a pot of clay
and you are cooking beansoup
and I, longing for you
playing my guitar
I sing for you.
(patinada, or kantada is the singing by the
door of your beloved. I guess you know what I am talking about)

Aman my Katerina, Kouzoum my Katerina
I want to tell you about my little complains
Eyes like chestnuts put me in tortures
and I want to pass by your door all the time.

P.S. "Katerina" is a long version of the name "Kate". Both names come from "Katherine".
The translated version of Kate in greek is "Καίτη", which is spelled "Keti"
The singer is Haris Alexiou, Greece's most important singer. Hope u like it!

I didn't quite think of Cate or Kate while listening but it was a catchy song. Listened to it twice.

I think I can pretty much guess what everyone's favorite Kate film but how about Cate Blanchett? She's been in some great ones.

I haven't seen her in that many films, actually. Have you Jas? Would you recommend any?

I haven't seen too many either. Just a handful. The Lord of the Rings movies are a must, The Aviator with Leo is great, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Notes on a Scandal is interesting, and Babel (though not my favorite) was good too.

Hmm, my faves change daily it seems but I'll always have a special place for Cate in Elizabeth. When I caught that film in college in the theater it was as if I had an awakening or epiphany. She had me at the opening credits. Anyway, otherwise my fave films would definitely be LOTR, Heaven, Notes on a Scandal, I'm Not There and thoroughly enjoyed her performance in An Ideal Husband. Curious Case of Ben Button was good too, I enjoyed that one. Babel was intense...it's definitely a movie I can't watch unless I'm in the mood for it...it's a great film though, very passionate filmmaking from Alejandro.

I'm not sure I've seen Elizabeth. I should watch that one eventually.

I've been curious about "I'm Not There". For Cate but also Heath Ledger is in it too, do you know how much screentime he had?

Babel...you gotta be in the mood to watch. I have the film but I've only seen it once.

Kate and Cate needs to get their butts and their identical sounding names in a movie together.

A movie with Kate and Cate would be a dream pairing. I love Cate Blanchett so much!

She was fantastic in Elizabeth: A Golden Age. And I'm so happy she's going to reprise her role in The Hobbit.

I HIGHLY recommend seeing Cate in Elizabeth! She is extraordinary in that role! And I'm Not There is a Todd Haynes film but it's ingenious IMO! It's a surreal take on different facets of Bob Dylan's facade &/or persona but delivered in a truly unique and interesting fashion. I also happen to be a big Dylan fan so to hear the incredible covers of his music was icing on the cake. Not everyone's cup of tea because it's so weird & artsy but everyone does a spectacular job including Ledger, but you come away being blown away by Cate's performance. She truly becomes Dylan it's insane! Heath was in it about a sixth of the time. Remember the film is divided up into 6 different sections of Dylan's life so they each share about the same amount of screentime. Hope that answers your question.

I'm in the same exact boat as you w/ Babel! I own the movie but have only summoned the courage to watch it once since I bought it.

So pleased to see more fans of the K/Cates here! And yes it's my dream come true if they were in a film together! I'm so sad Liv Ullmann's A Doll's House never came to fruition.

It needs to happen. I wonder what roles I would want for them. Or what kind of movie.

The Hobbit should be interesting. I hope it's as good as the LOTR trilogy.

It does, thank you! I'm even more excited about 'I'm Not There' than I was before. And I'll make sure to watch Elizabeth, asap.
