1. Because these two are "the best actor/actress of their generation".
2. Because Kate has loved Leo for more than 13 years
3. 'cause Kate convinced Leo to take the part of Jack in Titanic
4. 'cause after finding out that she had to be naked in front of him, Kate decided to break the ice, and when they first met she flashed him.

"Two incredible men who are such special people in my world. And Leo I am so happy that I can stand here and tell you how much I love you and how much I've loved you for 13 years. And your performance in this film is nothing short of spectacular. I love you with all of my heart. I really do."

"He's brilliant. At first, I thought, 'Oh, is he going to be Hollywood stud-like?' But he's a really kind, wonderful person. He said to me one day early in the making of the movie, 'You know, I was kind of worried about you'. He thought I was going to be a perfect skin, which I am certainly not. It didn't take long for Leo to crack and see who I really am, and we became very close. but, I must say, he is absolutely gorgeous."

"She was my best friend for seven months. We'd unload the stresses of the shoot to each other, vent to each other, watch out for each other. Kate was just the perfect person to work with because she was very much one of the guys, and it would have been much harder without her. We were partners."

"There were times when I was in tears. It was the toughest shoot, lasting for six or seven months, and Kate Winslet and I were both driven very hard in a lot of difficult water scenes. There was no point in complaining. We were filming in a giant tank in Mexico and the film was costing a fortune, so all the complaining in the world was done in privacy, with just the two of us. We did not have to vent it on anyone else. Sometimes Kate was in tears, other times I was, and occasionally we both were. It was that kind of job. But Kate is awesome. She is beautiful, tremendously talented and is really down to earth. I don't think England realizes what a treasure she is."

"The truth is we've been very, very busy people,'' DiCaprio says.
"She's been off on multiple locations, as have I, this entire time since Titanic.
"There were periods where we didn't see each other for over a year or whatever . . . but doing that movie, we had forged a bond at a very young age."We have those friends . . . you might not see for tremendous amounts of time, but the second you see them you're completely comfortable and you're the same people that you were when you initially met."There's no need to sort of work on anything. It's just there. It is what it is.
