He deserved his Oscar nomination for Les Miserables and I thought he deserved an Oscar nomination for Prisoners. That movie was so intense. I also love Hugh in The Prestige, Real Steel, and The Fountain. For those who like his singing voice, you should check him out in Oklahoma in which he played Curly.

I think he and Kate can make an Oscar worthy movie together.

I agree, I'm glad he was nominated for Les Mis and I would have loved a nom for him in Prisoners as well. Thanks for the recommendation for 'Oklahoma', I'll have to check it out.

I always liked how he changes his voice through out the song from louder to softer later on.

The entire play is on YouTube, but unfortunately I think the sound is messed up. It shouldn't be that hard to download though. I have a copy of it and if you have a gmail account and PMed me your e-mail address, I also possibly could share the video on Google docs. Just let me know.

Speaking of ESOTSM - I saw an interview recently while surfing YouTube, where Kate got asked a question of which movie she'd love to do a sequel to, as none of hers have been. Her answer: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I don;t think I'd want to see a sequel of that movie... I want to remember Joel and Clem trying to end for their happy ending, whatever that'd be...

But I'd pay good money to see Kate with blue hair again

I agree. I don't really want a sequel to any of Kate's movies. Though, I assume there's a reason her movies have never had one. ESOTSM is a real art piece. I had to watch it a couple of times to really appreciate the complexity. It's one of my favorite Kate movies to this day.
