I heard Billy did something similar. He said he wrote Cal's entire background to what he thought it was. Looks like Billy and Kate are fanfic writers

I can confirm that from my old acting course, so much research has to go into getting a character exactly right.

Christian Grey is disgusting. That's all there is to say.
Meanwhile, for the longest time, Cal restrained from physically harming Rose. You could see that he had hesitated before he slapped her. Yes, he was dominating, but he controlled himself. And i can't believe some people really think Billy and Cal are the same person. Billy really is a kind person! just shows how shallow some people can be. __________________

It's his most famous role, and one of the best acted ones too, so it goes without saying, people will think that him and Cal are the one and the same
OT but I still can't get over the great similarity between Frances and Kate in the movie... Like they were real mother and daughter! __________________
