Yes but is everyone like going to church all the time? Like are they going to catholic school and all that?

No, church is not mandatory, religion is not mandatory. Only when your getting your confirmation kids have to go to church for like a year and once that's done no one ever goes again unless there's a wedding or a funeral.

I thought Finland was hardcore Protestant, with people paying taxes to the church and stuff. Must not have been paying attention in that lesson.

Yeah you get communion after confirmation. I had it that one time when I was 15.

Now I'm forgetting which one I got - it's the one you get when you're really young like 7-8ish and you eat the bread and drink the wine that symbolizes blood.

Yes, that's what I did that and being baptized when I was a baby and that's about it! Who needs an extra year of church? Not me.
