I'm always watching The Oscars. Now even more. But I don't think anyone will be as good as Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman did a good job. I actually usually end up liking most of the hosts. I even liked the most hated ones like David Letterman and Chris Rock. I actually loved Letterman's, but very few people did.

Yeah, I usually end up liking most of the hosts too. I'm excited to see how Alec does this year, though. I think he and Steve will be great together.

I think they will be too.

I loved Jack having more empathy after his case of bedbugs. Even Kenneth wouldn't touch him.

I know! I felt so bad for poor Jack. Last week and this week, actually. Last week, he was getting rejected by everyone, and this week it was Liz (which is pretty bad). I laughed at his line, "Never do business with a friend. Never be friends with a woman." And I loved that he renamed the actor from "Jack" to "Danny." And people agreed to it and called him Danny. Only Jack can get away with those kinds of things.

Sorry for the double post, but I found this gif of Jack doing the Dealbreakers hand motion and I wanted to share:

That is hilarious. I'll probably get an icon of that one sometime.

I went to the movies in LA and saw the promo trailer for Alec's movie with Meryl Streep and the whole audience laughed especially at the laptop scene. I can't wait to see the movie, two of my favourite actors, it has to be good.

Alec Baldwin says he’s done with acting. He’s planning to quit show biz after his “30 Rock” contract is up in 2012. “I don’t have any interest in acting anymore,” the two-time Emmy winner told Men’s Journal in an interview published in its upcoming issue. “Movies are part of my past. It’s been 30 years. I’m not young, but I have time to do something else.”

Baldwin, 51, who has been fiercely opinionated throughout his career, is pretty tough on himself and thinks his movie career has been a bust, despite critically acclaimed performances in films such as “The Hunt for Red October” and “Glengarry Glen Ross.”

“It’s a difficult thing to say, but I believe it: I consider my entire movie career a complete failure. I’ll tell you why. The goal of moviemaking is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that,” he told the mag.

He even thought about quitting his popular NBC show back in 2007 after a nasty voicemail he left for his daughter - in which he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig” - was made public. “I feel the consequences of that every day,” he said.

The actor, who has been at war with ex-wife Kim Basinger over custody of his teen daughter, Ireland, for years, said he has seriously considered ending his life. “I was going to put the hose in the most noxious of the cars I own, a Jeep, take some sleeping pills, and take a nice nap in the front seat of my car in the garage,” he said.

Baldwin’s battles with Basinger also led to a recent breakup with his girlfriend of seven years, but he doesn’t seem too miffed. “I don’t mind,” he said. “I’d rather be lonely than wrong.”

I really don't know where his problem is. I find the whole interview strange. If he really wants to quit acting and go into politics for example, good for him but he sounds overly bitter about his life.

Everyone has times when they're bitter about life. And who knows, maybe he is actually a bitter person. As sad as I'll be to see him leave show business, I can also understand where he's coming from. I'm just going to be sad because 30 Rock will definitely end as soon as Alec leaves. They can't (successfully) continue it without Jack.

I've definitely been bitter and stuff like that. I can't really judge him for that.

He does speak before he thinks a lot of the time, it seems.
