Actually, after Mark Sanford and Sarah Palin, maybe Alec might fit in. But I agree with you, I'm not sure what he could do. I think he's better off donating money or bringing attention to his causes.

I love Alec but he does he speak before he thinks a lot.
Which would be a nice change to the usual politican mannerism.

Well, the U.S. has Joe Biden for that. But Alec could give him a run for his money.

So true! I think Joe's got us covered on that front. Alec would definitely give him a run for his money there, though. Then there's Mark Sanford and Sarah Palin who act before they think. Maybe Alec wouldn't be so different from many politicians.

I forgot that German politic is completely different to the US one.
Aaaanyway, I think Alec will end up in politics somehow.

Now all these crazy examples are coming up, I can sort of see Alec in politics.

Yep, I kind of can see Alec fitting right in. Regardless, I'd still rather not have him in politics. Even though that kind of craziness is fairly common, I personally wish I was less common in politicians, not more common.

I don't have an extensive knowledge of German politics, but from what I do know, it's definitely quite different from US politics. Each country has such different politics, it's impossible to keep up with every country.

I don't know much about German politics either. But I can see the politicians having more common sense over there.

I'd prefer Alec in show biz too. But maybe it could be a 30 Rock storyline. Jack decides to run for office. They sort of did that in Cooter though.

If you see German chancellor Merkel, she pretty much sums up our politicians.

Oh I would like that. He could meet C.C. again. And his mom could be his manager.

Nice! I like her, from what I know of her.

That would be fantastic to see Jack try and run for office! I could see that being a nice arc for a few episodes. Of course, I'd want to see him lose so that he could come back to GE, but I'd love to see him try and run for office. Poor Liz would probably be torn between voting for a friend and voting for someone as politically opposite of her as Jack.

All I know of Chancellor Merkel is that George Bush Jr. tried to give her a massage. That's what happens when the only news you get is from Jon Stewart. Nevertheless, I bookmarked her Wiki page. One of my New Years Resolutions was to keep up with current events more.

No matter how much Liz likes Jack. I don't see her voting for him, ever. If Jack were real, I doubt I'd vote for him either.

Keep up fast then, we've elections in September. But I think Merkel will be reelected. And ew to the massage thing.

I don't think I would vote for Jack either, mainly because I think Republicans shouldn't rule.

Haha, I remember that! That was really weird and also kind of funny (in a "Wow, President Bush, how stupid can you be?" kind of way). And can I just say that you are awesome for admitting that the only news you get is from Jon Stewart? I have so many friends who do the same thing, but they try to pass off for getting more news than that.

Yeah, I don't know if Liz would vote for Jack. I would hope not. I could also never vote for Jack. He's waaayyy too opposite of all of my views.

Speaking of Jon Stewart, I'm watching the Daily News atm and Cameron Diaz is on and Jon praised Alec Baldwin and after showing a clip of My sister's keeper he said that was the saddest 30 Rock ep I've ever seen.

Haha, I didn't see that one! I'm going onto Comedy Central's website right now to watch it.
