Episode Discussion 4x11 - Winter Madness
In an earnest bid to lift team spirit, Liz takes "TGS" on the road. But the ride gets bumpy, especially when Jack chooses a destination for his own self-serving purpose and tags along. Julianne Moore guest stars.
Original Air Date: Jan 21, 2010 |
Really enjoyed this episode. Though Julianne Moore's Boston accent is one of the most annoying things ever. I loved the reference to Kevin McHale, how Jack McBrayer's hatred of winter was worked in, and Kenneth & Cerie pretending to be a couple.
I'll be re-watching this very soon. |

I liked this episode too - I haven't really enjoyed the past couple so this one was cool :) I cracked up at the guys beating up Kenneth all being called Sean! I have a ton of cousins in Boston and three of them are called Sean! :lmao: I loved Nancy's dream about opening a cosmetic store for red-headed girls to buy cosmetics - from someone who understands! As a redheaded girl myself I would so go there! I loved Lutz rubbing his belly in Dale's face! :lmao: so so sick :P |
Okay, I thought the ep was meh basically becuse of the fact that I wasn't interested in the whole Boston storyline. There were some good one-liners though like the fake NBC exec mess lol. And I agree, Julianne Moore's accent was bad. So fake.

 i'm not a redhead, but I am very pale, so I would also like to go to there.
The Sean's were great. I liked the Liz type Sean, trying to have it all. Grumpy Kenneth was awesome. I've never seen him be so mean before. Poor Liz. :lmao: Loved all the Lutz shots in this episode. Choosing Subway for everyone. And the wanting to strangle him. hahaha and the burn when he wanted to room with Frank. And of course, Tracy chasing around the patriots. |

I saw the episode, it was a good one, I totally need to rewatch it again because I feel like I forgot most of it  I loved the crew being in Boston :goof: it was hilarious :rotfl:

I'll admit the accent is off putting. I'm assuming it's done on purpose, b/c JM is actually really good with accents usually.
All the guys named Sean were pretty funny. I grew up 40 minutes north of Boston, and it is a very common name. I loved Tracy with the "Patriots". It brought back my 5th grade history classes. And Jack asking Jonathan what good it was to have an Indian assistant if his computer is always down. |
