Same here. It was a smart move to bring Lois on when they did. I had hoped for it the second I started watching Smallville but because it was pre-Superman I never actually thought it would happen.
She's been such a breath of fresh air even now because she adds a lot of comic relief when everything is always so serious. __________________

Yeah she's always been good for comic relief actually...and they focused on that aspect of Lois' character heavily in the first few seasons she was on the show. I don't think they really gave the chance to play the more emotional scenes and let her show off her range until S8.

It's way overdue because it's only the last few seasons that they've shown us the incredible depth for Lois' storylines and character.

They did a great job casting. Can you guys imagine anyone else for the role on Smallville, I can't.
It seems that a lot of the women who have played the role of Lois have seemed destined or meant to be Lois because we've had some legends over the years. __________________

^Yep that's definitely true Jill given the way the critics can't stop raving about her. I don't think they showed her in a bad light all the time though

Hmm, yeah, I think they tried to, but you can't put Lois in a corner.
 They wanted to show that Lana was the centre of the show, and they had to bottle up Lois is what I meant.__________________

Yeah that I agree with
 . The problem with that is you can't bottle up Lois b/c the character herself was always meant to be front and center as a leading lady, so naturally she'll steal any scene she's in.__________________
