That was a sweet scene with Alex and Charlie.

I felt the same way with Maggie and Gavin too and their relationship seems to be a reversal of stereotypical gender roles with the guy being more into the girl this time and the girl being the one to end things and making it seem like it's the guy's fault (I didn't feel it) when she's actually the one who doesn't love him.

ETA: When did you figure out that the boy and the girl were Alex and Luke?

Yeah ...although that reminded me a bit of Quinn/David on OTH at least by the end of Q/D's relationship, she wasn't "feeling it" anymore and I just don't get that when the guy didn't do anything wrong.

I think when they told us We were meant to think that was Alex daydreaming about what her life would be in the future.

Yeah I guess so but they did drop hints by having the super old radio/cassette tape player and then when they showed the tv it clicked.

I hated the Quinn/David thing too b/c didn't she also complain about how he changed and he wasn't the same guy she married but obviously people have to change and grow otherwise your relationship and you as a person would just be stagnant.

Exactly, thank you! I was just so annoyed at Quinn the whole time for the way she handled that, and just leaving like that and ignoring him instead of sitting down and talking things out. And it actually wouldn't have been fair to David if she stayed anyway but at least talk about it, let him know what's going on.

But anyway yeah, I felt so bad for Gavin having to go through that because he literally did nothing wrong and it probably came out of the blue for him. He was actually trying to ask her what he could do to make her happy

IKR? And he was so happy about being with her and the baby and the whole thing just came out of left field. Poor Gav.

I mean, I know they wanted to get Quinn and Clay together but they could have done it a lot more naturally than that...and then of course they had to make David into an actual ass by having him hook up with Taylor.

Yeah and he was so good to her and was there for her 100% when she lost the baby. She should be grateful to have someone like him.

I actually wasn't a fan of the relationship because of how it was done and then made to be this OTP of all OTP's when they haven't earned it yet. And then you had Quinn attacking Naley and leaving their house when they reprimanded Clay on being absent, spending time with her nonetheless, during a crucial couple days in Nathan's career as if she's been with him for ages and he's done nothing wrong. So yeah, definitely wasn't a fan and that was a shame because I really loved Clay when he first came on the show.
