The CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the upcoming series finale of "Smallville". Titled "Finale", this episode is scheduled to air in the U.S. at 8.00pm on Friday, May 13th on The CW.

BE THERE AS SMALLVILLE WRAPS UP CLARK KENT’S TEN-YEAR JOURNEY IN AN EPIC TWO-HOUR SERIES FINALE — The story of Clark Kent (Tom Welling) culminates in this epic two-hour series finale as Clark takes the last step to becoming the Man of Steel. With surprise guest appearances, nods to the first few seasons of the series and Michael Rosenbaum’s return as Lex Luthor, this final episode wraps up a decade-long story following one’s man’s journey to becoming the world’s greatest superhero. Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, John Glover, Annette O’Toole and John Schneider also star.

I agree- so many mixed feelings. Was out with my mom yesterday getting some party supplies and when I was talking about Smallville tears started to form.

I don't know if I'll be able to keep it together this evening.

Right now it's not hitting me that SV is almost over. But then that was the same with LOST. It wasn't until the episode was almost over that I broke down.

I am excited to see how this will all play out tonight. I know in the past when my favourite shows have ended it has taken me a bit to realize that it's not just a season finale but a Series finale. Maybe I can live in denile for the summer and just keep SV alive by tossing on my dvd's lol.
