Oh wow that does sound great about GMW. Does that mean that Shawn and Angela finally made things work? And I didn't even realize that was Mr. Turner!

Two of the main reasons why I like the first movie better are:

1. I think Loki as a villian is much more interesting to watch than Ultron and 2. They sprung up a romance between Nat and Bruce out of nowhere and it felt kind of forced and awkward to me

Other than intermittent Cory/Topanga (And Cory dressed up as Justin Timberlake ) moments, this has got me the most excited And Riley tried to set up Maya's mom with Shawn and it seemed to have some interest from the two of them so we'll have to see about him and Angela.



Yeah the Loki bit was one I thought could be a problem with this one. And the other thing does seem out of the blue.

Hmm that's interesting...my first impression of Maya's mom though was that was a lot like Chet and I think that was probably intentional since Maya = Shawn...so I'm not sure if that would be a very healthy relationship for him in the future .

It also seemed like they tried to make Nat into a bit of a damsel in distress there. Like she still kicks ass and what not but she gets captured by Ultron and she sends a message to Clint so he knows where to find her then she just sits and waits in her cell. Like there is no one around and she waits for Bruce to come bust her out. This is the same woman who's first scene in The Avengers had her tied to a chair and she just busted out of there no problem. Now I realize that a being tied to a chair and being locked in a cell are two completely different things but still you're telling me that Nat couldn't find a way to pick the lock? It was such a clear set up so that the could have Nat and Bruce talk about running off together again. Like it would have been one thing if they only just started a Nat and Bruce attraction in this movie but to have them so serious that they consider running off together? WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM? AND IT TOOK AWAY FROM NAT'S AGENCY! Ugh

Rach- You'll be happy to hear that Galavant and Agent Carter were both renewed. I thought both were really good and would've been annoyed if they hadn't been.

Agreed about the Natasha/Bruce romance seeming forced. Natasha in general just seemed off. I really liked her character in the previous installments particularly in The Winter Soldier but it just felt like they didn't know what to do with her so they decide to pair her romantically with Bruce. They seem to limit her in action sequences too (the only big moment I can remember is her on the motorcycle) so I'm wondering if Scarlet's pregnancy played a factor. I did like that we got to see some of her past but overall her characterization this movie was weak. Overall I really liked the movie. Ultron was an interesting villain although they could have lengthened his initial conversation with JARVIS since it seems like he went evil within seconds.

Yeah I think she was kind of off too. And it's possible that her pregnancy played a role in it. Also the Nat and Bruce thing seemed forced to me b/c IMO I didn't see any hint of an attraction between them in the first movie and Natasha is such a closed off character that it makes me wonder how and when they got so close and when things changed between them...like especially b/c Nat is so guarded they should have shown us their relationship changing and how he got her to open up instead of just going from them having like three scenes together in The Avengers with most of them having Nat be very wary around him to them going, "OMG I LOVE YOU! LET'S RUN AWAY TOGETHER!

Yeah I figured A to Z was going to get canned. I did hear that Hulu might pick up TMP so I'm crossing my fingers for that one.

Supergirl looks like a cross between Ugly Betty and Lois and Clark: TNAOS.

Oh and DID YOU KNOW THAT BETHANY JOY IS IN A NEW SHOW COMING OUT THIS FALL????? I used all caps because I'm super excited! Here's the trailer:



The CW will also have a new show called Legends of Tomorrow starring the characters from The Flash and Arrow. From The Flash there will be Firestorm/Martin Stein, Captain Cold, Heatwave and from Arrow there will be The Atom (Ray Palmer), White Canary (Sara Lance). There's also going to have Hawkgirl on that show and Vandal Savage will be the villain. I'm not sure how I feel about that one yet. It seems to me like TPTB just thought, "Hey we really like all these characters. Why don't we make a show for them?" and most of them seem like supporting players to me so I'm not sure how I feel about them being the focus of their own show.

I'm so out of the loop I don't think I have heard about it but that's awesome!

That looks like an interesting mix, my sister will like it because she loved Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) And it'll be interesting to see how they bring Sarah (White Canary) back. It does seem like the CW is just trying to benefit from the superhero surge right now, I wonder if it'll work for them.

I'll probably watch it, but I'm kind of wary of Berlanti's shows now given the way they've treated Iris this past year .

So I saw Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend and I loved it! My only major critique is the lack of the Treblemakers, i.e. Jesse in the movie. He only had like 7 scenes in the entire movie. Apparently they did film a storyline for him but it didn't make it into the movie .

Maybe it'll be better or if they do mess up, they'll be able to fix things again.

Glad you liked it! But aw that sucks about not enough Jesse in there. Did you thing everything else was too good to miss out on that they didn't have that storyline for him in there?

Not really, I think there were probably some stuff they could have cut to include Jesse's storyline or they could have just made the movie a bit longer.

Oh did you hear that Joy isn't going to be on The Catch anymore ?
