Yes, it's fun. I love photography, and I'm in the process of scanning loads of old photos, going back to the Eighties.
I hope everyone is having a good week. __________________

That's cool Julie! I love photography too but I never find anything "photo"-worthy around here unfortunately. Except maybe my cat
Sounds like fun Rach! Hope you enjoy the movie. What did you think of the first one? |

Have fun Rach!
Aw, I'm sure there are some great things to photograph! I find interesting stuff in the most unlikely places. Your cat is definitely photo-worthy! __________________

It's just regular building on regular building here so I never find anything I used to take a lot of pictures when we used to go up to our rented apartment in the mountains but haven't done that in a while.

Aw, that's a shame. I hope you get to go to your rented apartment again in the near future.

I enjoyed the first movie but I thought the villains in the first two Spider-man movies with Tobey Maguire were better than Doc Connors. At first when I heard they were doing Spider-man again I kind of wondered what was the point since the Tobey Maguire movies aren't even that old and they did really well but after seeing it and seeing how different his back story is in the Andrew Garfield movies I could understand why they wanted to reboot it. What did you think of it?
Oh are you caught up with Elementary? How is everyone doing? __________________

I just saw the second one I felt the same as you about the reboot. I enjoyed the original movies (well the first two) but they weren't my fave of the superhero movies. I didn't see TAS when it came out, but my sister wanted to go to the movies and there was nothing else (Divergent & Captain America both stopped showing here) so I watched the first one before we went. Each franchise had parts that I enjoyed and thought they did well but I think I enjoyed Andrew's Spiderman more but the movies as a whole, maybe Tobey's more. TAS2 seemed a bit off too. I felt they introduced too many villains, I know one was just at the end and the other setting up for later, but it still felt "crowded". There was some good action though, good effects too, I liked Spidey's sense of humor and Peter/Gwen were sweet.
I haven't caught up with Elementary yet, I'll probably do a marathon on a weekend or something when my other shows are done. TGIF and that it's almost over |

Hey everyone.
I saw The Amazing Spiderman 2 recently too. I liked it a lot, I was very impressed my the 3D and all the action scenes, they can really do wonders with those these days. (BTW, I haven't seen the first TAS movie but I did see the older ones with Tobey Maguire, well at least the first 2, it's hard to remember. ) Hope everyone has a great weekend! __________________

Hey everyone
Laura, I'm curious, how come you saw TAS2 when you didn't see the first movie? Ray, I felt the exact same way . I did like TAS2 but I also thought there was a lot going on. I heard that they shot some scenes with Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane but they decided to cut them out of the movie so it wouldn't detract from the Peter/Gwen storyline which I think was probably for the best. __________________
