Krista, how's your dog now?

It's been a pretty hectic week with Halloween and everything, but it was a lot of fun. I'm doing a language unit with the kids and for that unit we're doing an author study on Robert Munsch. This week I read them the story The Paper Bag Princess and they made storyboards, I told them the story with puppets which they loved and then they made their own, and I did a one woman play for them and dressed up in a paper bag. They really got a kick out of it so it was worth it.

I was worried because he seemed to have gotten sprayed in the face and heard a dog can go blind from that but everything seems alright. Our house and him are still little smelly from the incident.

My dog is having a terrible week. He's fine but still somewhat smelly from the skunk. However, he hurt his back (same thing happened about a 1 1/2 years ago) and now he can't run/jump/climb downstairs for a month and is on steroids.

I feel like I've had no life outside of work the past few weeks I get home around 5:30 / 6 and then it's a blur of dinner, maybe some ironing, and some net surfing, go to bed, wake up 2 minutes later and do the same all over again

My sister wants to see Twilight so we're going this weekend to see it.

That's pretty much how I'm feeling. It's been hectic at work and when I finally get time off then I have a paper or project due in school. I have a string of days off so I'm going to try and go to a football game, movie, or both with friends this weekend. I'm also going to try and catch up some shows (I'm behind on a lot of them).

That sucks that even your time off has work in it. I had a day off yesterday but spent all of it working too. That's good about a couple of days off though, hopefully you'll be able to do something fun for a change.

And I know what you mean about the TV shows, it's like you get caught up with one and then you have 4 others you're behind on.

I went to a football game yesterday and it was so fun. Also have caught up on a few shows. Today I have write a paper and do so more homework which sucks but hopefully I don't procrastinate too much and get it done in a timely manner.

That's great you were able to do a couple of the fun stuff you wanted to! Glad you had fun and hope you were able to finish you paper and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Went to the mall yesterday with my sister, we had fun hanging out, shopping, etc We watched Twilight and though I'm not a fan of either the books or the movies, I thought the ending was much better than the book's

Hey guys! I know I said I would still be around but I've been so swamped lately.

Ray, you'll have to tell me all about Twilight.

I spent the afternoon practicing face painting designs of animals b/c we want to do something fun with the kids for my last day on Friday. I didn't actually practice on anyone yet, I was just using water colours and paper but I'm going to practice on some people tomorrow.

ETA: I just saw that the SV board is now on the low post count list, so if you guys have any spare time please post on the SV board.
