At the moment I'm wondering how exactly he will get rid of Doomsday in the finale (if he does), given that Tess destroyed the crystal (not a huge supporter of her, she's almost as bad as Lex) that could send him to the phantom zone. Unless the ring plays a part.

I love that Clark calls her as the Blur to let her know he is looking for Chloe, since he can't outright tell her. And there's something romatically sad about him giving Lois the letter cuz it's like he's really saying goodbye to her in case... It's sort of funny how Phone booths is becoming their thing, why didn't she just give him her cell phone number?

I'm just gonna do a review of the episode as I watch...might end up here all night.

I kind of feel bad for Oliver, he's been there for Clark countless times and if he hadn't killed Lex then Lex would have eventually killed/tried to kill Clark. Yet at the same time I see where Clark is coming from, if he decides to kill Davis he's no better than a killer.

Oh, Oliver and his "gang" are sneaky. Couldn't the krypto-dart kill Clark? Not feeling sorry for Ollie anymore!

Well, apparently not for long. Can't Chloe heal anymore? Or did that go with Brainiac? Chloe and Jimmy were back together for a millisecond. And well, it just goes to show that even without the beast, Davis is a killer.

The actual battle between Clark and the beast was a bit anti-climatic, or is that just me? It seemed to be this huge thing but it's over...I think.

Why was Clark not at the funeral? Was it all his fault? Apparently so.

And Lois is missing - you can see how that has affected Clark, I take it no one notices that the ring is gone also.

There's something about Clark's "speech" about it being the human in him that's dangerous that reminds me of Angels words to Buffy in "Amends";

Angel: Look, I'm weak. I've never been anything else. It's not the demon in me that needs killing, Buffy. It's the man.

Yeah there's a reason why Doomsday is nicknamed Failsday...what with Lois minimal screentime, the pathetic fight between Clark and Doomsday and the Jimmy retcon. It was the most overhyped and the most disappointing finale of SV ever. Fortunately, it looks like S9 is going to fix that.

Apt name! Even Tess overhyped it. He had to kill Doomsday in order to fulfill his destiny...but you expect it to be a huge fight. I think Bizarro Clark was more of a nemisis...plus Tom Welling x 2.

But the moment when Clark goes to call Lois so she knows someone is looking for Chloe I loved.

I think they did that to align with the mythology so that Clark can actually have the big fight with Doomsday when he becomes Superman.
