Announcement: Re the 10th thread
Okay guys the 10th thread is quickly approaching and we'd like to spruce up the OP a bit and add a bit more variety to it. If anyone would like to contribute to the 10th thread celebration please pm icon, arts etc to me by October 1st. I'm on 818. Mairi and I were watching The Office, SPN and OTH last night.
I had some profound thoughts earlier, I think on the Clana thing but I've been unable to get on the internet and forgot what it was. Hopefully I will remember. I'm sure it had something to do with Lois also. Oh that's what it was. Everyone was right about the Clana arc in s8 being out of place, but the thing that bugs me the most is that they've (the writers) portrayed it as thought Clark and Lana aren't going to be together because they can't be together not because they shouldn't be together. It's all to do with the kryptonite suit and nothing to do with personal feelings, one moving on or something. So as a Clois fan it annoyed me that they even went down the route of Clana revisited when they had already shown enough why they could and should and will never work. Maybe they felt the need to show once and for all that Clark and Lana would never be together again, I don't know. Them revisiting the relationship just didn't ring true for me esp. given that it's noticable from before Bride that Clark does feel something for Lois (even if he is not sure what it is). __________________

^Yep that's exactly what bothered all of us. Clana did not need to get back together but having them split up b/c of a knite infected suit was just gawd awful. On the bright side, after she leaves Clark seems perfectly content with that and he never used the Legion ring to change things or looked into any other methods to rid Lana of the infection.

^^^ All the more reason why it seems that the Clana arc was so out of place. It would have made perfect sense in s7.
Is it the Legion ring that sends Lois wherever she goes in 901? Okay, whoever thought up the line "it's all my fault" should be shot. I'm all but throwing things at the computer screen cuz Clark just told Davis that "IAMF". Those words better never ever ever be said in season 9. __________________
