| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm watching for a 908 trailer! Okay - I went to read the rest of the reviews and only Nora and Rachel have posted reviews for me to comment on. I guess everyone is on too much of a high. ETA: *have read Rachel's review* Quote:
I loved in that scene when he sort of poked her in the side when she had her back to him. Sort of "I don't believe you and look at me when you speak". Love the Friends flashback - those are always fun! Quote:

![]() ETA: Hee, Karen. I was on a high but finally got around to write/post a review ![]() ------------------- Here's my Lois/Clois/Clark review for Crossfire. It's late, but I thought I'd post it anyway, especially since there's no Lois this week. Such an awesome episode for Clois from start to end. It had the comedy factor sprinkled with a bit of drama, I loved it. We had some pretty high expectations about it, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. That bit at “Good Morning Metropolis” was great. I love how Lois was so passionate about getting the job and Clark had no idea what to do in his own adorable way. The way Lois kept looking at him whenever he messed up and was clueless about it, was hilarious I loved how they seemed to be more comfortable around each other now. The way Clark told her not to get worked up like she usually does (big mistake though lol) and then later at the Planet. Their little back-and-forth was so cute.“Do you even care if I get this job?” “Of course I do, I bought a new tie.” “Well, I bought a new outfit.” “Well, you look great.” “Don’t do that.” “Do what?” “Don’t you dare reassure me right now.” “Lois, I’m only doing this for you. How else am I going to get that second date?” Her little smile there was so adorable. I love that Clark showed her that he’s still working for that second date. And it seemed like he wasn’t really sure of the best time for it, given what happened between since he asked her the first time. When the producer tells them they’re hired as a team because they have great chemistry, the way Lois puts her hand on his and smiles is hilarious. And so is the way Clark smiles and sighs knowing what’s coming ![]() Clark trying to figure out what to do with the release forms was fun to watch. I liked his scene with Chloe and how she was teasing him about it. Also that she told him to leave the Kandorians to her for now since there’s not much he can do other than what he already did. I also liked how Clark admitted he cared about Lois ![]() And the next scene with Clark looking at Lois’ profile showed, similar to Hex, that Clark knows Lois really well with his comments about the ‘movie’ theater, six-packs (the way Lois checked him out at that was hilarious ), and monster truck rallies. Even though Lois wasn’t too impressed with his “You’re Lois” when she asked what things would attract great guys to her, I actually liked it. It’s what is so interesting about their relationship. Lois keeps him on his toes, keeps him guessing, challenges him. It’s what makes it so hard for him to actually put into words all the things he likes about her. He did seem annoyed that he couldn’t come up with something. Her quip that she already wrote her name and the way she said it was hilarious. Hee.Clark’s date was fun. Lois’ one-liners were awesome as always and I liked the mention of Lois’ Rules of Reporting. I love how she kind of had fun with it at first when she looked at his profile and when she told him this was like his first day at the Planet as he struggled to get things right; then when she saw who Clark’s date was, her jealousy was cute and her snarky remarks were fun. “If you can’t take the heat sister, get out of the café.” I like how they respond to each other’s banter now with just a smile. It was the same in Rabid for Clark, and now with Lois when he said he has an annoying ringing in his ear. It’s become a natural fun part of their relationship that they both enjoy. Clark seemed to enjoy Lois’ jealousy. Lois visits Oliver to ask about her red flags because she wants to top Clark's date, but Oliver has only the good things to tell her about. When Mia walks out in a towel and asks Ollie about the money, Lois asks where she'll put it :lo: Now onto Lois’ date. The little convo they had before Lois’ blind date arrived was awesome. I love how bold and confident Clark was with the way he talked to Lois. “If this were prom, you’d be crowned queen” (and Lois adorably blushing at that), “I’d like to see him try”, “what is it going to be for us Lois, love or war?” and “If I was would you say yes?” were awesome. Lois’ smile when he asked her that last question and his expression as she was about to answer were Then … Oliver. Can you say bad timing? Because that’s what it was Lois was so uncomfortable through the whole thing, and rightfully so. I like how Clark has this smile/smirk when Lois says it wouldn’t hurt the ratings to have a billionaire for a date, heh, he relaxes that this is the only reason she’s going through with it. Well, they both have no idea what’s coming. Oliver then lets it all out and tells Lois how he feels, Lois is stunned and says “Check please!” in the funniest way then “Sorry Clark” as she turns off the earpiece and takes Oliver out to the terrace. I felt so bad for Clark and how shocked he was with how things turned so quickly. He thought he just lost his chance with Lois which he later verbalizes when the producer shows him the marketing ad of the two of them (which was so cute by the way) and tells him she has high hopes for them. “So did I.” Aww. As Oliver tells Lois that he’s realized she’s the best part of his life, she tells him she loves him as a dear friend. He asks if it’s Clark, and she says yes. I love how direct she was with stating her feelings. She didn’t try to lead him on or anything, and straight out told him how she feels. I love how Oliver respects that, gives her a kiss on the forehead, and leaves the AoC not wanting to pressure her anymore. Then they have a nice friends moment when she follows him telling that she’s not going to let him go back to the darkness. He tells her “You, my friend, were a chance worth taking.” That was so sweet ![]() Then there’s the situation with this Rick guy. Lois kicks ass yet again, and I love how she’s not intimidated by those guys and keeps up her snarky attitude. Clark hears them struggling over the earpiece and he rushes over knowing that Lois is in danger. That super save was so awesome. Very well shot. The slow motion, the camera, the bullets, the heat vision, all great to watch. And that bullet he caught just millimeters away from Ollie’s face, wow. Ollie must have been scared out of his wits with how close that was Then that look Clark gave Oliver, that was intense! Again I felt bad for Clark seeing Lois and Oliver hug because he thought they might be getting back together, when it was only because they were relieved.I thought the Clark/Chloe scene at the Watchtower was good. I was amused by Stuart’s video and Chloe’s reaction to it: “Hello hand” I liked that she told Clark to go after what he wants for a change and not sacrifice his own happiness. We’re back at the Daily Planet. Clark walks in and sees Lois standing at her desk. He stands at the door and has the sweetest smile on his face. He watches her for a little while before moving towards her. He calls her name and she starts talking about the show and how they went with Catherine instead. When she doesn’t respond to his third “Lois,” he just grabs her by the shoulders and lays one on her For a few seconds, she’s too stunned to react, then when it registers, her eyes flutter and close. When she starts to reciprocate and moves her hand to his neck, he lets go of her shoulder and holds her in an embrace. Still not quite sure this is happening, her eyes open again and she looks at him as if to make sure she’s actually kissing Clark Kent I love the soft expression on her face, it’s like she can’t believe this is actually happening and I want to give her a hug (later of course ) because I can imagine how happy she was in that moment! All this while, Clark is totally into the kiss, there’s no hesitation from him or doubt. She then closes her eyes again and gets lost in the kiss too. I love how their kiss was so romantic and passionate and just full of emotions … just amazing We fade to black before they stop the kiss.I can’t stress enough how much I love the timing of the kiss. It was perfect for this season. In Bride, we didn’t have nearly as much emotions from Clark. And Infamous, well as everyone already mentioned, I just want to give Erica a big hug because she spoke up about the kiss there. It was all bad timing in that episode. This was just perfect in every possible way And I still can’t believe Henderson and Whitehead actually wrote it!__________________ little brother ...Ray ღ

Love yours too Heh, the bit about Ollie and how his friends "scared him half to death!" made me laugh And I totally get why you'd want to hate Ollie for interrupting, I mean, that was an awesome conversation going between Lois and Clark. We want to hear her "Yes."The kiss did kind of leave us speechless at first, didn't it? ![]() __________________ little brother ...Ray ღ

| Fan Forum's Finest ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^Heh for sure .Karen, thanks for your comments on my review...in response to your question about whether Lois has seen shirtless or not...have you forgotten their first meeting ? She not only saw him shirtless, she saw him butt naked !And yes Clark's love or war comment and the "If I asked would you say yes?" was just swoonworthy. I don't know how Lois resisted leaving the AoC and jumping Clark's bones .Regarding Lois' character and Clark's comment about her and Ollie in Arrow...I think some people didn't really get why Lois was trying to hide who she really is, but like I said this speaks to her insecurities about herself and the fact that it is so hard to get to know who she really is...this also kind of shows just how amazing it is that Lois has let Clark get so deeply ingrained into her life. We know that Lois has confidence in her journalistic abilities and her ass-kicking abilities...which borders on overconfidence at times...but I've seen people mention that Lois isn't entirely confident in her own self-worth and I'm inclined to agree. In Lucy we saw her praise her sister at the expense of herself and tell the kidnapper to let Lucy go because she was the one with the bright future. I think Lois is aware that she's a bit rough around the edges and that she doesn't always make the best first impression, which is why she was trying so hard to project an image that she thought people would like. Ray, love your review! I also love the opening sequence and how Clark's working so hard to get that date with Lois. When Lois puts her hand on top of Clark's, he gives her a small smile and looks like "Damn I have to do this don't I?" He knows he doesn't have a choice . And yeah ITA with everything you said .__________________ Rachel|Icon So I put my arms around you...and I know that I'll be leaving soonღ Clark: Lois, I died when you left. Lois: I'm here now. | |||

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay - since we're not reviewing this weeks episode on here I'm just gonna make some comments here. I love that they still showed Lois in the recap and didn't treat it as out of sight, out of mind. Lois was still a part of this episode to a ddegree, with her being mentioned or refered to in a few scenes. Despite Erica not being in the episode (in any new scenes) I actually really enjoyed it. I love Erica and Lois but I think if they had been in the episode, the Kandor story wouldn't have been front and centre and Clark would have been greatly distracted thoughout it. Bit miffed at Chloe having camera's at The Farm but I think they explained it well...kind of I like that she was able to explain to Clark why Lois did a runner, Tom's face when she said "that would make Lois run" was priceless. OMG to the chemistry between Cassidy and Callum - they can be in a scene and then suddenly it's very evident when they are in close proximity to one another. I love that Ollie and Clark had a lot of time together and that Ollie has never seemed intimidated by Clark and that he's someone Clark can talk to about his family situation and he gets it. I thought there scenes were great and that Clark doesn't have any grudge against Ollie for almost taking Lois away from him and that Ollie doesn't hold a grudge about the fact Lois prefers Clark to him. I think things were a lot clearer about the Kandorians and how they got there but Tess' plan has backfired. Zod knows that Jor-El had a son. When Zod said his wife died in Kandor - I take it he wasn't talking about Faora, right? I realllllllllly enjoyed the episode....despite there being no Erica and I didn't think that would happen! __________________ Say g o o d n i g h t ,not goodbye Karen|Icon by Cris | |||
