NBC/CTV have released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the upcoming episode of "Saving Hope". Titled "Bea, Again", this episode is scheduled to air in the U.S. & Canada at 9:00pm on Thursday, August 16th on NBC/CTV.

From NBC: With Charlie removed from his ventilator, all he and Alex can do is wait and ask themselves: is this really it? But when a patient comes in for a routine follow-up, her new symptoms could lead Alex and Charlie to making a discovery about Charlie’s coma. Meanwhile, Joel cannot operate after breaking his hand, and Maggie and Gavin deal with the aftermath of their kiss.

From CTV: Charlie’s ex-wife, Dawn, has pulled the plug on his ventilator. All that’s left now is to wait for his breathing to stop. Devastated, Alex vows to stay by Charlie’s side. Meanwhile, Charlie – resisting his death – bumps into Mack MacIlreath, a recently deceased colleague, who has come to help Charlie die. Alex decides to lawyer up and appeal to the Consent & Capacity Board. While the process gets started, Alex is pulled away to meet with a patient: a young woman named Bea, who Alex performed surgery on while working as a first year surgical resident under Dr. Charles Harris. Bea’s check-up is all clear, but Mack and Charlie fear that she was misdiagnosed. And if Alex doesn’t catch it before Bea walks out of the hospital, she could die. Elsewhere, Joel’s hand is broken and he cannot operate until it is fully healed. Stuck with doing consults, he takes the case of a choir singer who makes a “miraculous” recovery from her paralysis.

So sadly I don't think I'll make it to the live viewing of tonight's episode. I'm not feeling too great right now, so I think I'll just shower and go to bed early. Maybe we can do a rewatch or something this weekend if anyone's around?

I liked seeing the flashbacks to Alex's first days and her interaction with Charlie. You could tell how different he was back then and how Alex seems to lighten him up.

Charlie really needs to wake up sometime this season because poor Alex can't take much more. It also sucks that her boss gave Chief Resident to someone else.
