| Hello, fellow musical lovers! I'm Erin, and I would like to formally introduce myself as a new member of FanForum. (Thank you, Mandy, for leading me here  . How did I not notice?)I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (where it's currently snowing, to every sane person's misery). My birthday is December 26th, Boxing Day! I find that there are too few people who like musicals, so it's great to be here with all of you. I like slightly opera-ish musicals. I've enjoyed some actual operas such as Carmen and Aida, but it's generally not my favourite genre. Nor do I especially love pop musicals, although there are exceptions (such as RENT and Cats). My favourite musicals: West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, RENT, Cats ...but I would give up all of these for the supreme, awe-inspiring, entrancing, spellbinding, speechlessly DIVINE Phantom of the Opera. Living in Winnipeg, I must be content with film versions of these great musicals (which is simply depressing because there's no proper film version of Les Miserables!). However, someday I hope to travel to New York City and have a musical marathon on Broadway. If you have suggestions of musicals, send me a message and I will be ecstatic! It's a way (at least it is for me) to let go of everything that's going on your life and just pour you're entire soul into the show you're performing. Really it's just my favorite thing in the world. Favorite musical: All Shook Up, Les Mis, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Shrek, ummm yeah there's a whole lot more. Anything else you want to say: Nothing really.
