Well, that could very well be the case.

I am ashamed to admit that I went out and bought the Glee: The Music Volume I CD yesterday and that it has been on constant repeat since purchase. I'm particularly fond of Lea singing "Take A Bow".

WHY ASHAMED!!! I'd buy it if I wasn't poor. might be asking for it from mama for Christmas haha

I really love her little bits in Maybe This Time and I think her Taking Chances is phenomenal even if people were like "boo stay away from celine" ha

Hehe, I think it's the number of times I've listened to it.

Maybe This Time was great because I love both her and Kristen so, so much. I like Taking Chances and I think she sang it differently, inflected her own sort of flair on it.

Count me so in for that.

yeah, ugh her solo's just amaze me. she can sing anything. and everything she sings blows me away. I LOOOOOVE her in No Air to esp. at the end. I like the Glee version better than the Orig. I def. think it's radio friendly

Everything is very radio friendly. I'm so glad the show has gained such a following because people are really searching out all the actors and where they came from. I'm for anyone being drawn into musical theatre and most especially something as powerful as SA and with Lea and Jenna Ushkowitz's history with the show I think that's exactly what is/will happen.

Their new tour promo video for Mama Who Bore Me (Reprise) is horrible. The music is slower and their voices are not very strong. What a shame.

They look so amateur with that version. Especially when you compare it to any video of the OBC singing it on youtube.

That's the problem often times with shows like this, vocally the parts are challenging and require something in a package that's hard to find and cover all the bases. Each character has a very involved personality and then on top of it, it's vocally demanding, I think sometimes they settle for people who can fulfill one part of the role but not all of it. Frustrating.

well. to defend the tour, the OTC cast is amazing. I saw them live, and that MWBMR is the OTC still so it's def. something off about whoever produced/directed/recorded that "music video" they really should just film it live with the audience and the people on the side! esp. for the montage when they show TF.

I just think that it was a bunch of poor choices all around when it comes to that promo video. The tour cast is great and has some really strong performers but that video is just a giant FAIL. Also, Christy really needs to be stronger on her high note. That always bothers me when Wendla is too quiet in the song.
