On topic, I'm beginning to really love Haven Burton. I never used to like her when she was in Rent. I can say that I was really wrong about her. Girl is talented.

This is a clip of Haven singing Take Me or Leave Me. She understudied Maureen. Now Haven is in Shrek.

She has a pretty voice! And she doesn't scream the song like a lot of Maureens tend to do

I agree, Lena. I've seen her as Maureen twice and she didn't overact which I love. A lot of actors tend to play Maureen really wacky and loud.

Same for me. I love all the characters but Maureen and Joanne interest me the least. I think it stems a little from my epic love for Mark. I'm bitter on his behalf
