Okay, so this is crazy. But it turns out the writers actually KNOW about the podcast Nicole and I do. And at least one of them actually LISTENS.
We'd mentioned on the podcast recently how I'd gotten tickets for episode 250, and they actually reached out to offer to show me and my dad around after the taping! It was primarily Andy Gordon and Maria Ferrari showing us around, but I met a few more (including Steve Holland), and they were literally coming up to me asking "are you Roxanne?" And everyone was super kind, and they were thanking us for being there (and I was like, "no, really, thank YOU!"), and they gave us so much time to just look at the sets and take a ton of pictures. On one hand, it's kinda super intimidating knowing someone's listening, because we do go on rants sometimes, and criticize where we feel it's needed. But it's also amazing, and the fact that they reached out and offered, and then were all so welcoming once we were there, it was a night I'll never forget. __________________
