Kripke (John Ross Bowie) has proof that Dr. Pemberton (Sean Astin) plagiarized his thesis in college, and Sheldon and Amy aren’t sure if they should turn him in or not.
Also, Wolowitz is happily surprised to learn that Bernadette wasn’t the only waitress at the Cheesecake Factory who had a crush on him back in the day.

If I was contending for the Nobel prize, I would take Kripke's ammo against my opponent in a hot second. Then I would regret owing him my victory for the rest of my natural life.

I'm still kind of over the Nobel Prize focus, but I did like how Leonard wanted to get involved to help them.

I also don't think exposing him was really as shady as they presented it to be, but I guess that could depend on how exactly Kripke got the proof.

Yeah, I agree. I guess I can see the ethical conflict, but I definitely don't think I would've let them know and handed over the evidence. It was a good topic though - the different opinions were believable.

I was already a bit surprised with how many episodes we've had on the Nobel storyline and, although I like Kal Penn, I think we've probably had enough appearances from them now. Nothing against those actors, but I'm really just hungry to see as much as possible of the main regulars for the remaining episodes.

An exception to that would be Kripke - I'll take as much of him as they like. On top form in this episode.

I loved Leonard stepping in to help and stand up for his friends, and do what he thought was right.

Just two more Big Bang Thursdays left.

It was a fun episode last night. I really enjoyed the Nobel storyline and how they wrapped up the feud plot. I'm surprised Pemberton got away with buying a thesis online - universities are usually pretty savvy to those things. But then I guess it was a long time ago that this happened, so perhaps higher ups were still unfamiliar with buying essays and such online.

The Howard storyline was kinda meh. It felt like it was trying to recap how far Howard's come, but past episodes have done that a lot better to the point where this plot didn't really feel needed.

Same. Also wasn't there supposed to be a scene at the Cheesecake Factory or did I miss that? I swear there was a promo pic with Howard and Raj at the CF.

Plus the fact that he did end up going and creeping people out, it almost felt like a bit of the "same old Howard."
