Not sure I'd have liked the show if I saw it origionally, but now knowing and loving all the characters, I adore it.

Im pretty sure Id have loved the awkwardness and the dialogue no matter which episode I watched first the characters arent all likeable at first but theyre entertaining

I liked them all at first - mostly Raj, my first ep was Grasshopper Experiment so I thought the show was about him - but based on what my tastes were back then, my first ep was the perfect first impression for me. The Pilot wouldn't have been. But as an established fan, I loved it.

I hadn't seen a science-nerdy comedy before so I would've been hooked from the Pilot. It actually was my first full episode but my first impression of the show came from the finale. I caught the last half of it as it aired.

As it is probably my favorite episode ever, I think the finale is a great ep to see first, too, even if not in full.

In my case, the pilot was the first chapter I saw, so this one really got me started on BBT.

Off to HIMYM

It's basically the description of what a double slit experiment demonstrates. The double slit experiment shows the duality of particles. They are both waves and particles.

ETA: Haven't actually rewatched yet but I thought it might be interesting to know.

ETA2: I watched the Pilot when it was released and got hooked with that first joke about the double slit experiment. It was such an elaborate explanation for something so basic in their field but at the same time sooo sciency.

Aw, I'm bummed I missed the first rewatch night! I didn't even realize it was last night, I've had so much stuff going on the past few days, but I was out all day anyway.
