We do those for our magazine all the time. They are photos that you take at the same time at the actual photoshoot but you don't use them in the magazine layout, whether it be for spacing reasons or it not fitting correctly with the story layout.

They are outtakes from the People Magazine photoshoot, meaning they were taken at the same time as when the photos that actually showed up in the magazine were taken. They didn't use these photos either because it wouldn't format with the story correctly or they just ran out of space.

I don't think so. I've seen miscellaneous articles criticizing her hair, but nothing more than that.
